Project Name: Cookbook
Cookbook is a recipe-focused full-stack web application that allows users to create, browse and share recipes with friends. The app has a social media aspect, encouraging users to interact with one another by liking, reviewing, and sharing recipes. Users may follow one another and share their activity to create a sense of community. Cookbook utilizes Spoonacular, a recipe & cooking API which provides access to a database of recipes, organized by category and searchable by tags. The application is built for mobile phones and tablets, with a focus on ease-of-use and simplicity, in order to provide a smooth user experience.
My background as a military intelligence analyst has provided me with a well developed skillset that focuses on critical thinking and problem solving under pressure while remaining flexible. I have learned to quickly adapt and am continuously looking for ways to implement new tools and emerging technologies.
