Description of my final project

Project Name: SquadUp

Find friends online so you never have to game alone. Add platforms and games easily, and be instantly matched with potential new friends. Once friends have been accepted, create squads and chat all on the same site. SquadUp uses HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap and jQuery, along with a backend built with Java and Spring Boot communicating with a MySQL database. Chat functionality is powered by WebSockets so the user can chat seamlessly without having to refresh the chat page.
