Project Name: Youtube Data Analysis Project 11/2022
In a group of four people, we analyze the Top 200 trending Youtube videos using classification modeling to help content creators better understand their characteristics and further emulate them. We used Youtube API to access videos, Pandas, Seaborn and Matplotlib to acquire, prepare, explore and model data sets for drivers of top ranking Youtube videos. We then finally used Scikit-learn to create a Random Forest Classifier model that predicted Top 25 videos with an accuracy of 88% on validated data.
I now have a comprehensive knowledge of data science pipeline, from data acquisition to modeling and client delivery. Offering a unique and well-rounded skillset from Codeup Data Science bootcamp and with a background of two and half years experience as Data Analyst will certainly fit me into any data driven team.
