Project Name: Patients Notes NLP
In medical school, physician instructors spend thousands of hours grading students notes. As part of the licensing exam, medical students perform medical assessments on standard patients and record their medical histories. Grading students notes is a tedious and time consuming operation that instructors must do manually. This project intends to use Natural Language Processing (NLP) to extract keywords and features describing a clinical concept or condition. Our model will help automate the grading process, ensure uniform score attribution and vastly reduce the time and resources to score exams.
