Project Name: Stroke Predictors
Did you know, every 40 seconds someone in the United States has a stroke. Every 4 minutes someone dies of stroke. Our team wanted to reduce these numbers. We wanted to identify key drivers of stroke and model accurate predictions that mitigate future occurrences of this disease. Collaborated in a team environment to determine the drivers of stroke risk. We went through the data science pipeline by preparing our data, executed statistical tests, and created visualizations using Python and Tableau. The project used machine learning algorithms to analyze a stroke prediction data set from Kaggle in an attempt to find the drivers of stroke and build a model that predicts stroke outcomes.
