Project Name: Job Market Analysis
For our final project, we are analyzing which industries were most affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in terms of total employment. We are also exploring if the impact was disproportionate for subgroups of the workforce within the most-affected industries. The subgroups will be based on gender, age group, education, race, and ethnicity. And lastly, we are going to characterize the times series data from 2020 using statistics and leverage these new characterizations to cluster the industries into groupings based on how total employment in the industry was affected.
I have leadership experience and an education that is rooted in mathematics and business management. I enjoy working alongside teammates to solve difficult problems using data and data science methods. This combination allows me to bring focus and big-picture thinking to any project.
