Project Name: Esports Analysis
Esports is a booming global industry that will soon rival that of traditional professional sports. League of Legends is one of the largest esports in the world that generated $1.75 billion dollars for Riot Games in 2020 alone. A professional match can last around 20 minutes, and we've created a model that predicts the winner of a match by 10 minutes. This can be utilized by professional analysts of the game, applied to other sports, and help game developers discover any imbalances of the game mechanics.
I am a competitively driven person, which makes me push myself towards greatness in anything I do. My best ability is that I excel at learning and am always devoting time to continuing education, and overcoming my weaknesses.
I am most passionate about back end coding, creating data frames, and working with data to create something new and insightful. My favorite thing about data science is using the tools that I learning to find a piece of information that makes the data fit, or taking the information to make a decision about what to change or do differently. This is something I am uniquely talented at and I plan on making a name in this field by leveraging these skills.
