My Capstone Project: SquareHelp
SquareHelp is an incentive based stop smoking application that rewards users who have been smoke free. Users send verifications to other users to validate that they have been smoke free. After a period of smoke free days, users receive points they can redeem for gift cards at retailers. My contribution to the project was implementing auto-updating chat feature with Java and Javascript, notification system that sends notifications for new verification and messages, and the verification system where users can approve or deny verification requests.
