My Capstone Project: Ryderz
Ryders is a full-stack spring social media web application allowing visitors to register an account and add friends, chat with friends, join and create groups, create posts, and create or join events. Data is stored in a mySQL database and accessed through a custom built RESTful api, Using Spring Boot, Spring JPA, and Java. Users can upload photos using Amazon’s S3 from AWS and the use of the PubNub api allows user to chat with their friends. Created events have a Google Maps map for users to see and interact with.
