My Capstone Project: Kyte Rescue

kyterescue.com is a Foster program. It is built with full-stack development using custom css/HTML5 with some javascript on the front end, Spring Boot (Java) on the back end.

We were able to accomplish a lot on both front end design and implementation, as well as back end structuring and functionality.

 

I worked primarily on the back end, creating timed functionality for checking current foster pets, the database design, as well as REST api calls from our front end to our back end. I was also responsible for our API calls to (PetFinder API), which used OAuth2.
