Jamalot is a social media site designed for musicians and their community. This was the final project that I put together while studying at Codeup. It is a Laravel project. On the particular project, I worked on a team of three. My role in the group was to handle the backend portion of the application. I was able to fulfill this role using a lot of PHP. There were some challenges that I had to overcome. I was able to implement Intervention, which is a package that makes handling image uploads more efficient by sizing and cropping them to my specifications. I also used SoundCloud music API, and GoogleMaps API to enhance the user
experience in our application .
