My Capstone Project: Progeny
A full stack Java application using the Spring Boot framework. This project leverages the browser native MediaStream Recording API and saves the recordings in a MySQL database. I assisted in the database design as one of the core features for the site was my responsibility, the adding friends feature. This required and deep understanding of the database structure and how to manipulate that data so that users can request, add, deny, and delete friends. I also took the lead on the websites design. This included CSS styling and some custom illustrations.
