Using 2022 data from Texas Education Agency my team found characteristics that correlated with STAAR exam passing rates and built a regression model to predict the end-of-year passing rate for each of 5 subjects. The models are useful for schools to identify weak points and take proactive, targeted steps throughout the year to improve upon the predicted passing rates.
