Coding, for me, is therapeutic. I have experience in conflict resolution, leadership, and working with others to develop their strengths. I am excited to now be in the technology industry and to be able to develop tangible products to improve others’ lives, and am looking for a company where I can contribute to a team environment that desires to bring out the best in its employees.
Audio Space connects local bands/musicians with show promoters in any city to help book gigs with ease. This website features implement MapboxAPI which shows all of the current events in a user’s area. Performers will be able to search for an event to play based on location and genre as well as request to play any events that promoters have listed. Performers will also have the ability to rate promoters based on a 5 star system and leave feedback/reviews after playing an event put on by promoters. Promoters will be able to post events with a Craigslist style ad, accept/deny a performer’s request to play on their events and have their promoter status reviewed with a responsive 1-5 star rating. This project is a group capstone for Codeup, collaborated using Asana to track tasks, and git version control. Audio Space was made using HTML, CSS, Spring Boot, Maven, Java, Thymeleaf, MySQL, Bootstrap, Mapbox API, Email Trap API, and Filestack API and Mapbox API.
