Participated in a cross-functional team of five to design and develop a sophisticated fostering application. Leveraging Java, Spring Boot, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL we seamlessly integrated an OAuth API to ensure robust security and authentication. The application allows users to find and foster animals from local shelters using precise geographic search based on ZIP code. Furthermore, the application provides users with an array of valuable features. Users can efficiently schedule fostering appointments, share their valuable feedback through review submissions, curate their list of favorite animals, and achieve recognition by earning well-deserved badges for their contributions to fostering. This multifaceted functionality enhances user engagement and promotes a rewarding and interactive experience within the application. This project highlights skills in full-stack development and delivering a user-centric experience.
