Together with the team of three, we embarked on a project involving data scraping from Columbia University’s research and Data.Gov and WHO’s extensive disease datasets. Our goal was to construct an advanced disease prediction model using sophisticated machine learning techniques. We chose to focus on the Random Forest classifier due to its robustness and accuracy, achieving 90% test accuracy. Our analysis found important links between symptoms and disease by closely studying the data through statistical relationships and clinical insights.
