My Capstone Project: Hotel Customer Review Analysis
Utilizing natural language processing we analyzed over 515K reviews from over 1400 luxury hotels across the European region. Our data science team created over 15 new variables to be used for exploratory data analysis, sentiment analysis, promoter scoring, and topic modeling. The analysis results were used to create a Tableau dashboard where stakeholders are able to view performance metrics for individual hotels and compare neighboring hotel’s performance. This information can be used by each hotel to enhance their marketing strategies or tailor their services to specific customers for better experiences, increasing average review score and overall revenue.
