My Capstone Project: Return on Investment Analysis of U.S. Undergraduate College Majors
The goal of this project seeks to help current and prospective undergraduate college students understand the financial value and trade-offs tied to a given college major and its potential career paths. We source 250K unique Department of Education records from over 3000 US colleges in conjunction with US Census Bureau earnings data to design an unsupervised machine learning model that predicts return-on-investment earnings of predominant college majors.
