Clean Plate Donations is a website where restaurants with leftover food and charities who feed the hungry can connect and coordinate the drop off and pickup of leftover food donations. Clean Plate Donations’ front end was built using a combination of Thymeleaf, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap 4, Mapbox API, and Filestack API. Users can post listings of food available for donation or requests for donations. Users can edit and delete donations and also update their profile information. Clean Plate Donations’ backend persists information through MySQL and is served up by Apache Tomcat utilizing the Spring Boot framework.
