My Capstone Project: Full Plate
Full Plate is menu planning web application built with Java and MySQL that plans all of the user’s dinner meals for the entire month, integrates their Google calendar via Full Calendar api to check for schedule conflicts, generates an interactive weekly shopping list, and allows users to view the recipe for reference while they are cooking on their tablet or mobile phone. Additional technologies and libraries used include Spring Boot, Hibernate, Thymeleaf, and Maven on the back-end, and JavaScript, jQuery, Materialize, CSS3, and HTML5 on the front-end.
