My Capstone Project: Tech Blues- Mental Health in Tech
The goal of this team project was to identify which features in the workplace impacts an employee’s mental health and workplace performance. The Scikit-learn models we used were Decision Tree, Random Forest Classifier, XGBoost, Multi-layer Perceptron Classifier and we tuned models with a Grid Search cross validation. Our best model was the Random Forest Classifier with an 86% accuracy score. This beat our baseline model by 23%. We used data science in this project to provide data-driven recommendations to help improve work environments and provide business solutions to increase workplace morale and general quality of life.
