My Capstone Project: Videogame rating prediction
I analyzed over 200,000 games from IGDB and investigated the best user-rated games and what makes them so successful. I trained classification models on games with ratings to identify what features correlate with a higher rating label (Awful – Superb). The best-performing model was Random Forest with a max depth of 21, and in the end, I was able to improve our model performance by 32%
