Hire Me Because

I am a dedicated team player that works well in fast paced environments, combined with having a strong passion for functionality and problem solving. As someone who is younger in the field, I am always looking for the next opportunity to grow and expand my skillset as a software developer.

My Capstone Project: Mobile Eats

Mobile Eats is a Spring Boot website that uses Mapbox API and geolocation to allow users to track Food Trucks in their area. As a guest, users can view the profile pages of each vendor account to see their menu, reviews, as well as their number of followers. As a registered user, they can post reviews for each vendor to be seen publicly, and can follow vendors in order to get emailed updates on their menu or location. Registered users also have the ability to contact the vendor in case they have any questions for them, which also utilizes email service. Both registered users and vendors have the ability to update everything on their profile, and even add a personal profile picture using Filestack API. All of the registered accounts are saved in an SQL database, along with any updated information. The website has been stylized with a responsive design using CSS and Bootstrap, having both desktop and mobile views in mind.
