The Pet Adoptions capstone project was a collaborative effort in a four-person team where I took a leadership role in project planning, user stories, wireframes, and database diagrams. Using Java and JavaScript, we developed a mobile-responsive full-stack web application that allowed users to manage their profiles, post pets for adoption, and facilitate adoption processes. Additionally, we integrated Google Maps API for location services and TalkJS for meetup arrangements, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly experience. Throughout the project, we employed Agile methodologies such as daily stand-ups and demos, and successfully deployed the application on AWS, showcasing our ability to deliver a robust and functional product.
