My Capstone Project: Sidecar
A full stack application designed with Java, Spring Boot, MySQL, Thymeleaf, Javascript, and CSS/Sass. The site incorporates the Google Maps Platform allowing users to map out popular or scenic routes geared to motorcyclists with suggestions for points of interest, biker-friendly restaurants and bars as well as necessary services such as local gas stops, towing and emergency repair services along the route. Users can also add individual points of interest independent of the map routes. The option to post events such as toy-runs, benefits and social gatherings give the user the ability to find events and clubs in their local area. The entire site is searchable by location.
