We studied the effect of COVID-19 on the job market and employment levels in Texas. We identified 98 industries that were affected by the pandemic. Several of the industries that had a large negative impact and there were a handful of industries that had a positive impact. We explored how demographic subgroups were affected as well as grouped industries into clusters based on their impact. Finally, we forecasted future employment levels for several industries. We identified a valuable employment trend for the majority of industries which can be useful in predicting employment levels if another catastrophic event were to occur.
