My Capstone Project: Attention Walmart Shoppers
Our team acquired a Kaggle open-source dataset which consisted of nearly three years of Walmart sales data. Our goal was to predict weekly sales in order to improve inventory and the customer experience. After extensively cleaning and prepping the data, we were able to create a 2nd degree polynomial regression model that outperformed our baseline RMSE by 29%.
