My Capstone Project: Skillet-Ninja
Skillet Ninja is a virtual cooking assistant and recipe search application. The VCA (Virtual Cooking Assistant) walks the user through each recipe instruction with optional links to additional information/video. The MVC structure is built using PHP with Laravel with custom Javascript, jQuery, CSS, and annyang.js for speech recognition. Flat design is used throughout to create a bright and simple aesthetic. I did most of the work on the back end, and designed a complex relational database using MySQL.
