My Capstone Project: Child Learning and Development with PBS-KIDS Measure Up (Kaggle's Data Science Bowl 2019)
We identified drivers of children’s performance on assessments in the PBS-KIDS Measure Up! appl. Provided by PBS Kids and Kaggle, the data set consisted of 11 million+rows of app representing 17,000+ installation ids. We aggregated the data by installations in different ways, producing multiple data frames capturing time- and/or user-based observation sequence. The project aims to inform teachers and parents on how well different in-app activities can optimize the learning experience of 3-5-year old children using the app.
