My Capstone Project: Master of Music
Master of Music is a full stack web application built using Spring Boot and the MVC design pattern. This application allows a user to sign up and choose from 4 games to play, with an achievements page available for completing challenges. Games include Music Trivia, a Music Theory knowledge test, Complete-The-Lyric quiz, and an Unscramble The Lyric mini game all created with Java based logic. Players are ranked based on scores and displayed on the leaderboard. Players can be searched and their profile pages viewed to see their specific rank and achievements. All game history is linked to the individual players and saved in the database using MySQL. Each member of our team developed one of the 4 games individually. This allowed for creative problem solving, game dynamics, and feature creation custom to the game. CSS, BootStrap, and JQuery are used to create a visually stimulating game play experience.
