My Capstone Project: The STAARs of Texas High Schools
A project that examines features that influence a school’s passing rate for the State of Texas Assessment of Academic Readiness (STAAR) exams. Data on over 1200 high schools was collected. Machine learning models were used to predict the STAAR passing rate of a school. This project can be used as a reference to create new models for other schools.
