My Capstone Project: Tech Blues – Improving Mental Health in Tech
For our capstone, we address mental health issues in the tech industry. Our project uses data taken from a survey. We then performed a rigorous statistical analysis to identify what factors in the workplace have the most impact on an employee’s mental health and workplace performance. Using encoded data, we were able to predict instances of mental health interference in the workplace with an accuracy of 83%. From that we were able to make suggestions on how a company could improve the quality of life and morale for their employees.
