My Capstone Project: Healthcare Fraud Buster
This project focuses on combating provider fraud, aiming to enhance the affordability and accessibility of healthcare, by reducing insurance premiums and ensuring high-quality, affordable healthcare for all. The project involves building machine learning models to identify healthcare provider fraud, categorizing them as fraudulent or non-fraudulent based on relevant features and data.Consequently, significant fraud indicators were uncovered. Using these features, we can predict fraudulent claims reliably with various models. The intended outcome is to significantly curb provider fraud, leading to a more cost-effective and easily accessible healthcare system. I worked alongside a partner, and our joint contributions played a crucial role in the success of this project.
