My Capstone Project: Financial Forecasting
Project examined the factors affecting short term returns of Bitcoin. We combine a mixture of technical analysis factors, twitter sentiment analysis, and mining factors. Our team created numerous algorithms trying to identify features to use. We used different methodologies such as NLP, Regression and Classification modeling to select a model that performed slightly better than baseline.
