My Capstone Project: Party Planner
Party Planner is a web application that allows you to plan a party and or tailgates with people based off events in your local area or desired location. Once a person decides on an event to attend, they can either host a party by posting on the website and informing others of their party details or choose to attend another person’s party by commenting on their post. It’s a great application to use when traveling or if you’ve recently moved to meet new people at local events and attend their parties. Seatgeek and Mapbox APIs were combined and used to display a map and provide a list of events occurring within a 50 mile radius of the map marker. FileStack API was also used to allow users to upload a picture for their profile. Frontend languages used were HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and jQuery && backend languages used were Spring, Spring Boot, MySQL, and Java.
